Tech bounces back as tariffs target India, Apple shrugs it off

U.S. stocks snapped back from Tuesday’s pullback as dip-buyers returned in force. The Dow rose +81.69 points (+0.19%) to 44,193, the S&P 500 added +45.90 (+0.73%) to 6,345, and the Nasdaq jumped +252.87 (+1.21%) to 21,169.

The Russell 2000 slipped -4.36 (-0.20%) as small caps lagged. Strength in megacaps like AAPL, TSLA, and AMZN fueled the rally, with Apple rallying on news that it's mostly shielded from the new India tariffs.

Earnings from ANET, MTCH, GPN, and AIZ also gave bulls some ammo. S&P 500 held its 6,300 level again before surging, riding that sweet combo of FOMO, Fed cut hopes, and a buy-the-dip reflex that just won't quit. Energy and healthcare lagged, while tech and consumer discretionary led the charge.
